Question: Why does my backup fail with the following error?
"The TSM API library is lower than the application version.Install the current library version."
Answer: If you have downgraded a client from TSM v6 to TSM v5 SBAdmin will be unable to determine the version of api to use.
To solve this problem go to the Storix install directory /config/tsm. (typically the full path is /storix/config/tsm) Here you will find both EN_US and en_US directories. Move the EN_US directory to another name and re-run the backup. |
